Saints Cricket Club is a growing club with a proud culture and a commitment to excellence both on and off the field. We strive to develop players, support our volunteers, and create opportunities for members to achieve their goals while enjoying the game they love. Whether you're chasing success, building your skills, or simply looking for a great club environment, Saints is the place to be.
Our history
Incorporated in 1988 after merging the JCU Cricket Club and Estates Cluden Cricket Club, Saints Cricket Club has a long and proud history of high level cricket in Townsville. Over the years we have seen QLD Country Representatives, Sam Scuderi Medallists and 3 First Grade Premierships (2007/08, 2010/11 and 2015/16).
In more recent times, Saints spent time away from the First Grade Competition, while we went through an off-field reset towards the back end of 2019. The volunteers and people who love this club banded together, and finally, Saints returned to First Grade fixtures in 2025/2026. The return season wasn't easy, but these are the foundations for a long and fruitful future in Townsville Cricket
